Poem: His Possession

A possession,
I don’t want to be,
Unless it’s to the Savior,
Who died for me.

His instruction,
I want to adhere,
Worldly desires I deny,
For salvation draws near.

Zealous deeds,
In this present time,
Worthy of the Savior,
Who died for every crime.

Blessed hope,
Through grace shown,
To purify a people,
That He can call His own.

Inspired by Titus 2:11-14

Prayer:
Thank you, Lord, that I am purified by Christ to be His own possession for eternal life. It is in this blessed hope that I deny worldly desires to be zealous for good works. Amen.

Truth in love,
Heather
