Poem: The Gift of Hard Work

Sudden pain all over,
The gift of hard work,
Upsets my determined love.

It was freeing to be,
Someone who could labor,
For the ministry of the saints.

To be able to toil,
Harder than usual,
Without physical hindrance.

But it wouldn’t last,
Defect would catch up,
To activate my aches.

Yet, it’s worth every pain,
To indulge my tenacity,
In the gift of hard work.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Hebrews‬ ‭6:10

Prayer:
Father, thank you for the gift of hard work even when it leads me to feel physical pain. It is worth every ache as I know You will not forget my persistent labor of love. Amen.

Truth in love,
Heather
