Poem: Peace in God’s Omnipresence

I don’t know where you are,
Nothing of what you’re doing,
How you are feeling today,
If your life has improved.

But God does.

I can’t be there for comfort,
Share my concerned heart,
Give you encouragement,
The care that you deserve.

But God can.

So I pray for you,
Knowing that He hears me,
Confident He sees you,
Lovingly gives what you need.

I find peace in God’s omnipresence.

The eyes of the LORD are in every place keeping watch on the evil and the good. Proverbs‬ ‭15:3‬

The LORD is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs‬ ‭15:29‬

Prayer:
Thank you, LORD, for hearing the prayer of the righteous. There are those that I deeply care for that are suffering, but for reasons that You know, I am not able to directly comfort them in their darkest hours. My heart becomes heavy yet I find solace in knowing that Your eyes are in every place keeping watch over those I long to encourage. How consoling to experience peace in Your omnipresence! Amen!

Truth in love,
Heather
