Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2
Prayer:
The God of Moses, who gave the original ordinances of offerings and sacrifices to the great nation of Israel; the God who accepted their offerings as a sweet-smelling aroma as they followed Your commands and made atonement for their sins. Thank you for Christ Who walked in love and became our eternal sacrifice because He loved us. He is the sweetest fragrance for our atonement and there is no other offerings that must be made as He is the perfection of Your love. As a dear child who seeks daily to imitate You, I behold this blessing today by the supper of Christ. Amen.
