Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” John 20:29
I often wonder what it would be like to have grown up never knowing about Jesus. It hasn’t been too hard for me to believe that He rose from the dead because it’s just been part of my life. The story of “doubting Thomas” has always confirmed how blessed I am to have not seen but still believe.
What would it take for someone who has never heard of Jesus to believe? If we told them the story they would probably think we were crazy initially and most likely want proof. What proof would we give if we must believe He is risen without seeing the very marks on His hands?
I know where I would start. Do you?
