Sunday Reflection: Nothing to Fear

Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:34-36‬

Prayer:
Holy Father, with Christ as my intercessor I have nothing to fear. No matter the tribulations this life brings, Your Son’s death and resurrection has made it possible for me to live in confidence of Christ’s love and protection from all distresses as I sacrifice my being for Him who sits at Your right hand. No persecution, famine, nakedness, or sword is too great for His love because His power in overcoming death brings me to my own resurrection from the dead. As I partake of His bread and drink today, I thank you, Father, for my confidence and resolve to go whatever distance necessary to keep this confidence. In Christ, amen.

Truth in love,
Heather
