“For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” John 3:20-21
There is no fear in practicing the truth, but have you ever felt yourself not wanting to? Maybe wanting to hide from God? I have. And why is that? Because the truth exposes us and holds us accountable.
When we’re stubborn and not wanting to change our ways we will move away from the things that will convict us to change. We’ll lie to ourselves and deny the truth.
Such a dangerous place to be!
Let’s be honest with ourselves and gravitate towards the Light that forces us to take a hard look at ourselves to change our evil deeds to deeds that are manifested as having been wrought in God.
