This trial wasn’t about finding the truth. It was about finding a way to get rid of the truth to feed their own bellies.
This was not the time to be saved, but the time to submit to what must be fulfilled.

His disciples were so determined to stand by His side. They were so confident that they would be strong enough no matter what happened; even if it meant their death.
Eat My body. Drink My blood.
It's one thing to secretly betray a friend without them knowing. It's another thing to betray a friend when you are certain they know what you are about to do.
Each celebration is a time to reflect upon the past and look forward to the future.
What kind of person would willingly betray a close friend?
This was it for Jesus. There would be no more opportunities to bless Him in this way, yet there would always be more opportunities to help the poor.
It was His time. He knew it. He had taught, healed, raised the dead, walked on water, cast out demons, and done so much more to prove without a doubt that He was the Son of Man prophesied by the holy scriptures.
